We played on Superbowl Sunday and started on the back side. The check in process and reservation process were straightforward. The overall course conditions were generally good; the greens rolled better than they looked [pretty sure greens are all poa]. It was disappointing to see on a couple of the refurb'd holes [I think # 5 & 6], that the fairway and green were covered in coot crap. The layout definitely requires some thinking; grabbing driver on every par 4 won't work for the majority of players.

The greens are in great shape ...the layout is good and the price is very reasonable

This is one of my favorite muni courses. Always fun but in the last few years they have made and continue to make significant upgrades. The last few years have seen great strides on thier greens and this year they are changing out the sand bunkers with sand that you would normally see only on a $150-250 course. 6300 from the whites and challenging from the first hole onward.

I was pleasantly surprized at the condition of the greens. They putted very true and were reasonably fast. The fairways were in decent shape. I used to play this golf course reqularly years ago and it is much improved both in layout and condition. Playing early is important since the afternoon winds can be brutal, especially on hot days and can really detract from the experience. There are two holes (14 and 15) that run along the freeway and you'll hear a great deal of road noise. A good golfing deal for the cost.

I have played this course for years and it has improved drastically in the past year and a half. It is well worth playing. I play during the week and I hear play is a little slow on the weekends but can't actually verify that since I don't play there on weekends. The greens are great and the fairways and rough are also good.

Right next to small plane airport. Planes taking off and landing constantly. May be a distraction for some, but kind of cool to me. Only affects the front nine. Played in wintertime, drains ok, greens kind of hard, lots of trees make it a difficult course.

If you haven't played Las Pos in a while, check it out. New maintenance staff is solving old fairway issues. Doing a great job on greens. This sourse is a great value!

To be fair - it has been raining for a week and the course has suffered some because there is standing water in the fairways. One has a lake that is not normally there. When this course dries out some, it will be in great shape and well worth playing.

A passable muni that gets WAY too much play (125,000 rounds a year). Not a bad layout, but nothing special.

I have played this course many times, but this is the first in quite a while. The course layout has changed and all the changes are well established, so it was fun to see this "new" course. The fairways were the only area that I could complain about, there were many areas with no grass at all. Those spots were marked as gound under repair, but most of the fairways were still pretty thin. I am willing to give them a mulligan considering it is the end of a long, hot and dry summer. Tee boxes, Greens and bunkers were in fantastic shape and the new layout was a fun challenge. I will be going back again for another shot at this local gem.
